At Elite, we have winter weather protocols, equipment to support some tricky ground weather, and a team of instructors and maintenance professionals that prep our aircraft to maintain our flying goals. Plus, a little sun helps. :) We evaluate the weather ground conditions hour by hour and open the flight line, when safe. Plus, some cold winter days equal the smoothest air of the year! Let's Fly!

Thanks to Mr.Tipton for the ramp work yesterday - with some help from the wind and sunâ we are opening the flight line at 12 today. Our front desk folks will be back tomorrow so if you call and donât get an answer today, we will get with you as soon as possible in the morning.
Winter Weather has Arrived!
We're taking a snow pause at Elite Aviation today.
I was 17 when I first heard the dream, he was 20. A lifetime happened of college degrees, new jobs, marriage, children, houses, careers... until the timing which seemed to fit. Thatâs when I gave him the gift of a test flight. And that day, as he grasped the helm of that 172 Cessna in Chesterfield, Missouri, the dream became a reality. His private pilot license wasnât too far behind, but again in the timing that fit our lives. Then an opportunity arose that we couldnât have foreseen-- the opportunity to share the love of flight with others. We excitedly began to envision a NEW flight school--Elite Aviation-- taking shape and what it might become. As we researched and evaluated, we knew that we could provide the greater St. Louis area an excellent flight school and general aviation maintenance product in an environment fostering pilot proficiency and safety along with high quality piston engine service. Most importantly, our goal was to help other aviation dreamers fulfill their piloting goals. Elite Aviation is dedicated to our customers and we are proud to meld our dream with theirs.
