It is time for our PTA to start filling board positions for our 2023-2024 school year. We are currently in need of a President, Vice President of Fundraising, Vice President of Programs, and a Treasurer but all positions are open for nominations. If you are interested in filling one of these roles for the next school year, please fill out and submit the Google form. You will then be contacted by our Nominating Committee. Please note, our PTA can not run without parent volunteers so please consider stepping up into a role - and do not worry, you will be trained by the outgoing board representative.

👕 Our next round of Spirit Wear ordering is LIVE! By popular demand, we have brought back some older (but favorite) designs, have added a LONG SLEEVE option, and are featuring some NEW colors - including a black, white, and grey option and a navy option. You can order your spirit wear in both YOUTH and ADULT sizes by scanning the QR code below or going to Winterpock.memberhub.com. The order deadline is March 5th and we expect the orders to be in BEFORE Spring Break!

PLEASE NOTE: hoodies and tie dye run small so order a size up. Although not pictured, you can purchase a royal blue long sleeve shirt with the same design as the royal blue hoodie.

Winterpock will be hosting an Out of this World experience for 3-5th graders next month. A $5 ticket will cover the student and their adult’s entry. Friday March 10 6-8 pm/ lights will start at 6:30.

We are excited to officially announce that we are working hard to plan a school dance experience for both our 3rd-5th graders as well as our K-2nd graders. More information on both events will be forthcoming; however, at present, we are specifically in need of volunteers for the 3rd-5th grade event on Friday, March 10th. 2022-2023 Yearbook orders are LIVE!!! Yearbooks are $25 or $30 with a name imprint. You can order yours by going to yearbookordercenter.com and using school code 21141. Order deadline is April 16th. Don't wait....order yours TODAY!

Join us in honoring Martin Luther King, Jr’s legacy through service!

The PTA invites Winterpock students to participate in volunteer projects at Harper's Mill Clubhouse on Monday, Jan. 16 from 10 am-noon. We will have several volunteer stations, including making Valentines for local nursing home residents, care packages for families at the Ronald McDonald House, and more.

Register today at https://winterpock.memberhub.com. $5 non-refundable cost per child to participate, all of which will pay for supplies. All activities will take place on-site at the clubhouse.

Instead of one spirit night, we’re getting a full month with Dream Dinners. Order any size fully prepped meal ANYTIME this month and mention Winterpock FR and we will get 10% back in sales. The PTA is working to complete the 2022-2023 directory. This will include students names and their parent/caregiver contact information, and list each by grade and teacher.

The directory is completely optional, and is only available for PTA members. If you are interested in being a part of the directory, fill out the google form linked in the November Newsletter. We will send out a private link to the directory next week via email.

Important information for dismissal tomorrow:

Beginning Monday, October 17, dismissal will be moved back five minutes. Car riders, walkers, and bikers will now be released from the classroom at 3:50. Please see Principal Owen's Winterpock Weekly for more information.
