Carrying a firearm is a great responsibility. You are responsible for the firearm and the use there off, which means you are not only responsible for your own safety but also for those around you. Having the confidence, the know-how, and the soundness of mind to properly and safely carry and use your firearm in public, cannot be taught in 3 hours. To this purpose, we would like to extend our NRA Basics of Pistol Shooting course to include some hands-on, real-life scenarios training on our safe Smokeless Range Simulator. This course satisfies all the Virginia state requirements for a Concealed Carry Permit and walk out of the training with confidence.

Hope everyone had a great summer vacation so far, after a little break with family we are back to making some videos.

Lets start with some NRA, the National Rifle Association of America, basic safety fundamentals.

This is one of the first things you learn in our Safety Courses.

On July 4, 1776, the 13 colonies unanimously adopted a document that would declare to the British our statement of independence. How should we as citizens of this great nation apply those principles today? We get to reflect on the impactful people in our lives; Moms, Dads, Wives, Husbands, Children, good friends, and neighbors. They all bring joy because of the time spent developing interpersonal connections. These connections grow stronger at backyard BBQs, family gatherings, or coffee shops with a co-worker discussing common project. The true intent of our founding Fathers was to create a society (culture), where we could flourish as human being through family and business; the two simple connection tools divinely designed for authentic service to self, family, and others.

With that said, the Founding Fathers knew their statement of Faith would declare War against the British. So, where should our thoughts of war and anger be directed towards now? Any situation in our lives that causes disconnection, fear, discouragement, sadness, depression, and defeat. ANY areas of passivity that allow for anything other than HOPE to rule over us, should be warred against.

We were created to win in all areas of our lives! Our need to survive emotionally should not be dependent on buying a remote place to live in total isolation so that our choices from the past and present would not be critiqued by self and others. Someone might ask how this relates to learning personal defense and safety with a firearm. My response would be that when people discover they were created to make powerful choices and overcome the most victimizing situation without extreme passivity overtaking their decision-making processes, the internal image of how they see themselves can change to an empowering member of society and family.

Founding fathers said we need to fight. And so we do. We fight for connection. We fight for a mindset of freedom. We fight for a society that's free in its ability to be themselves, while honoring the rights and choices of others to be who they are.

NRA Basics of Pistol shooting:

This course will cover all the gun safety basics you need in order to apply for your Virginia Concealed Carry Permit. This course satisfies all the Virginia state requirements for a Concealed Carry Permit. We welcome individual bookings or group bookings. For group bookings, we are willing to travel to you, as no live ammunition is needed for this course.
