🙋🙋‍♀️: Saturday morning Mini Bible Study & Devotional

Everything changes when Jesus takes His rightful place at the center of your life. That doesn't mean every problem disappears; it means you no longer face tomorrow alone.

Worry loses its grip when we learn to trust God.

“But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.” — Matthew 6:33 NKJV

Jesus calls us to seek Him first, trust Him with our needs, and stop carrying tomorrow's burdens today.

Prayer is how we nurture our relationship with God.
Scripture renews our minds and anchors us in truth.
Faith teaches us to trust Him even when we cannot see the way.

Remember Genesis 3:8, when God walked in the garden. Sin disrupted humanity's fellowship with Him, but through Jesus Christ, we can be reconciled to our Creator and draw near to Him again. What a gift to know our Savior and walk with Him daily!

When prayer becomes your first response instead of your last resort, your perspective begins to change. Fear no longer has the final word. You learn to seek God's wisdom, stand upon His promises, and trust His timing.

Tomorrow belongs to God. Today, seek His kingdom.

👑 Jesus is not simply someone we turn to when life gets difficult. He is King. He is Lord. He is our Savior.

When we surrender our lives to Him, everything else finds its proper place beneath His authority.

🙋🙋‍♀️: GOOD MORNING — HOPE THROUGH SALVATION 🙏

Father God,

Thank You for giving us a new morning and, more importantly, a living hope through Jesus Christ.

Our hope is not found in circumstances, money, success, people, or what this world promises. Our hope is found in You.

Because Jesus died for our sins, was buried, and rose again, we have the promise of forgiveness, reconciliation with God, new life, and eternal life.

📖 “Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to His abundant mercy has begotten us again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead.”
— 1 Peter 1:3 NKJV

Lord, help us understand what salvation truly means.

We were separated from You by sin, but through Christ we can be brought near. We don't have to remain prisoners of our past. We don't have to live without purpose. We don't have to face tomorrow without hope.

Jesus has made a way.

Today, help us live like people who have been rescued.

Give us grateful hearts.
Give us courage to share the Gospel.
Give us strength to resist temptation.
Give us compassion for those who are hurting.
Give us boldness to speak the truth in love.

When we feel discouraged, remind us of the cross.

When we feel lost, remind us that Jesus is the Way.

When we feel condemned, remind us that there is forgiveness through Christ.

When we fear tomorrow, remind us that our future is held by You.

And when this world feels dark, help us remember that our hope is eternal.

Lord, make us faithful Bearers for Christ. Let our lives point others toward the hope we have found in Jesus.

We don't know what this day will bring, but we know Who holds this day.

So we will walk forward in faith.

Christ is our hope.
Christ is our salvation.
Christ is our future.

🙋🙋‍♀️: What happens if we become so distracted by the world that we stop talking about eternity?

What happens if we know the Gospel but never share it?

Paul understood the weight of this calling.

“For if I preach the gospel, I have nothing to boast of, for necessity is laid upon me…” — 1 Corinthians 9:16 NKJV

The Gospel was too important to hide.

And it is too important for us to hide.

📖 Carry Scripture in your heart.
🙏 Carry prayer into your home.
❤️ Carry the love of Christ into your relationships.
🕊️ Carry the truth without compromising it.
🔥 Carry the Gospel boldly.
👣 Carry Jesus into the places where His light is needed.

We don't know how many people God may reach through one faithful conversation.

We don't know whose life may change because we chose to tell someone about Jesus.

We don't know what God may do through the Gospel we faithfully pass to the next generation.

So carry it.

Carry it in your heart.
Carry it in your home.
Carry it in your testimony.
Carry it in your words.
Carry it in your actions.

“For I delivered to you first of all that which I also received…”

We received the Gospel.

Now let us faithfully deliver it.

🛡️ Becoming a Bearer for Christ means carrying what we have received and faithfully pointing others to the One who saves.

The Gospel is not merely something we believe.

It is the message we have been entrusted to proclaim.

🙋🙋‍♀️: Faith is choosing to trust God in the presence of fear.

The enemy wants you to question:
"Is God really with me?"
"Will He provide?"
"Can I overcome this?"
"What if everything falls apart?"

But faith answers:

“I KNOW WHO MY GOD IS.”
“I KNOW WHO HOLDS MY FUTURE.”
“I KNOW JESUS HAS NOT LEFT ME.”
“I WILL TRUST THE LORD.”

📖 “So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.” — Romans 10:17 NKJV

So how do we obtain strong faith?

🔥 READ THE WORD.
Faith grows when you continually hear what God has said.

🙏 PRAY.
Bring your fears, questions, weaknesses, and battles before God. Prayer teaches your heart to depend upon Him.

👣 OBEY.
Faith becomes stronger when you act upon what God has told you, even when you cannot see the outcome.

🕊️ WALK WITH THE HOLY SPIRIT.
Let Him guide your thoughts, decisions, words, and actions.

💪 REMEMBER WHAT GOD HAS ALREADY DONE.
When today's battle makes you afraid, remember yesterday's victories. Your testimony becomes a reminder of God's faithfulness.

🦁 STAND FIRM.
Scripture says:

“Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you.” — James 4:7 NKJV🙋🙋‍♀️

🙋🙋‍♀: BECOMING A BEARER FOR CHRIST
Called to Serve Like Jesus
What does it mean to become a Bearer for Christ?

It means more than carrying the message of Jesus. It means learning to carry the heart of Jesus.

And one of the clearest pictures of His heart is found in John 13, when Jesus washed the feet of His disciples.

Jesus knew who He was. He knew that the Father had given all things into His hands. He knew where He had come from and where He was going. He knew He was the Son of God.

John tells us: "Jesus... rose from supper and laid aside His garments, took a towel and girded Himself." — John 13:4

Then He began washing their feet.
Think about what Jesus was doing.
The One who created the feet was washing the feet of His creation.
The Lord was serving His disciples.

The Master took the position of a servant.
And Jesus knew that among those feet were the feet of Judas, the man who would betray Him.
Jesus served even in the presence of someone who would hurt Him.
That is the heart of Christ.

Peter struggled to understand it. He initially refused to allow Jesus to wash his feet. But Jesus told him:

"If I do not wash you, you have no part with Me." — John 13:8

There is a theological distinction here that is important.

Jesus was not teaching that washing feet physically saves us. He was revealing something about cleansing, humility, fellowship, and the posture of His followers.

After washing their feet, Jesus explained:
"Do you know what I have done to you? You call Me Teacher and Lord, and you say well, for so I am." — John 13:12–13

He was their Lord, He showed them what godly authority looks like. Kingdom authority kneels.

The world often associates greatness with being above others, being served, having status, or having power.

Jesus turned that thinking upside down.

"If I then, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you also ought to wash one another's feet." — John 13:14

And then:

"For I have given you an example, that you should do as I have done to you." — John 13:15
He was giving them a pattern for life.

🙋🙋‍♀️: WE ARE ADOPTED THROUGH JESUS CHRIST - Mini Bible Study

📖 “Having predestined us to adoption as sons by Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the good pleasure of His will.” — Ephesians 1:5

The Gospel isn't simply about escaping punishment.

It is about being brought into God's family.

Through Jesus, believers receive the astonishing privilege of becoming children of God.

The world may define you by your past.

Your failures may try to define you.

Other people may misunderstand you.

But Christ gives you a new identity:

You belong to God.

🙋🙋‍♀️: Mini Bible Study 👇
WHEN WILL YOUR KINGDOM COME?

In Matthew 24, Mark 13, and Luke 21, Jesus’ disciples asked about the coming of His Kingdom and the end of the age.

Jesus could have simply given them a timeline.

Instead, He gave them warnings.

⚠️ “Take heed that no one deceives you.” — Matthew 24:4
False teachers and false Christs would arise. Jesus wanted His disciples grounded in truth—not rumors, sensational claims, or spiritual deception.

🌎 “See that you are not troubled.” — Matthew 24:6
Wars, earthquakes, famine, pestilence, and turmoil would come. Jesus did not tell them to panic. He told them these things were not, by themselves, proof that the end had arrived.

🔥 Expect persecution.
His followers would be hated, betrayed, arrested, and brought before authorities. Yet Jesus promised the Holy Spirit would give them wisdom and words to testify.

❤️ “The love of many will grow cold.” — Matthew 24:12
One of the greatest dangers isn't simply what happens around us—it is what happens within us. Don't allow an increasingly lawless world to make your heart cold toward God or others.

📖 Keep preaching the Gospel.
Jesus said the Gospel of the Kingdom would be proclaimed among the nations. The mission doesn't stop because the world becomes chaotic.

👀 WATCH.
Jesus repeatedly tells His disciples to remain alert, prayerful, and spiritually awake.

Luke gives perhaps the most personal warning:

“But take heed to yourselves, lest your hearts be weighed down… with the cares of this life.” — Luke 21:34

Notice that Jesus didn't tell His disciples to spend their lives trying to calculate the date.

He told them to be ready.

The question isn't simply, “Can I recognize the signs?”

It's:

“Will I remain faithful when I see them?”

DEVOTIONAL QUESTION:
Are the troubles of this world causing you to become fearful, distracted, or spiritually cold—or are they drawing you closer to Christ?

🙏 PRAYER:
Lord Jesus, keep us from deception, fear, and spiritual complacency. Give us discernment without panic, courage in persecution, and a heart that remains faithful and loving in a world growing darker. Help us watch, pray, endure, and keep proclaiming Your Gospel until You come. Amen.

🙋🙋‍♀️: There are moments when life feels overwhelming. We may face circumstances that make us afraid, uncertain, or exhausted. Sometimes we don't know what tomorrow will bring, and the weight of today feels like more than we can carry.

But God speaks directly into those moments:

“Fear not, for I am with you.”

Notice that God doesn't say there will never be frightening circumstances. He doesn't promise that the road will always be easy. Instead, He gives us something greater:

His presence.

DEVOTIONAL QUESTION

What fear, burden, or uncertainty am I carrying today that I need to surrender to God and trust Him to carry with me?

Sit quietly with that question. Then read Isaiah 41:10 slowly. Let each promise sink into your heart: “I am with you.” “I am your God.” “I will strengthen you.” “I will help you.” “I will uphold you.”

🙏 PRAYER

Heavenly Father,

Thank You for reminding me that I am never alone. When fear rises within me, help me remember that You are with me. When I feel weak, be my strength. When I don't know what lies ahead, help me trust the One who already sees the path before me.

Lord, forgive me for the times I allow fear to become louder than Your promises. Teach me to look beyond my circumstances and fix my eyes upon You.

Go before me today. Walk beside me. Hold me when I am weary and strengthen me when I feel like giving up. Help me surrender the things I cannot control and trust You with the things I cannot see.

Just as You promised Your people, remind me that You will never leave me or forsake me.

I don't have to be afraid, because You are with me.

In Jesus' mighty name,

Amen. 🙏

🛡️ Be strong. Be courageous. Keep walking.

The God who goes before you is greater than anything that stands before you.

Become a Bearer for Christ. ⚔️🛡️

🙋🙋‍♀️: STRENGTH IN FAITH ⚔️

"But when he saw that the wind was boisterous, he was afraid; and beginning to sink he cried out, saying, 'Lord, save me!' And immediately Jesus stretched out His hand and caught him." — Matthew 14:30–31 (NKJV)

Imagine Peter telling us his story.

He stepped out of the boat because Jesus said, “Come.” For a moment, Peter walked on the water. But then he looked at the storm. He saw the wind. He became afraid, and he began to sink.

How often do we do the same?

Jesus calls us forward, and we step out in faith. But then we look at our circumstances, our failures, our fears, and suddenly the storm seems bigger than the One who called us.

Our faith weakens, and we begin to sink.

But Peter cried out, “Lord, save me!”

And Jesus reached for him.

Jesus didn't tell Peter to save himself. He didn't abandon him because he doubted. He reached into the storm and pulled him from the deep.

Peter would later deny Jesus three times. He would fail in ways he never imagined. Yet Jesus restored him and transformed him into a bold preacher of the Gospel.

The man who was afraid became courageous.

The fisherman who doubted became a bearer of Christ.

Jesus didn't just pull Peter out of the water. He transformed the man who was drowning.

And He can do the same for us.

Maybe you're looking at your storm today. Maybe you're carrying regret, fear, temptation, or feelings of unworthiness.

Remember Peter.

You don't have to be perfect for Jesus to reach for you.

When you begin to sink, reach for Jesus.

When fear overwhelms you, reach for Jesus.

When you fail, reach for Jesus.

When the storm becomes louder than your faith, cry out:

“Lord, save me!”

His hand is still reaching.

His grace is still sufficient.

His mercy is still available.

Strength in faith isn't the absence of fear. It is knowing where to turn when fear comes.

Keep your eyes on Jesus. Keep walking. Keep believing.

The storm may be strong, but Jesus is stronger.

⚔️ Become a Bearer for Christ.

🙋🙋‍♀️: Become a Bearer for Christ. ⚔️🛡️Faith isn't always having every answer. Faith is trusting the One who does.

Noah had to build before he saw the rain. He had to prepare before he saw the flood. He had to obey before he saw the fulfillment of God's warning.

God may be asking you to build something you cannot yet see the purpose of. He may be asking you to forgive someone when you don't feel ready, walk away from something that is pulling you away from Him, change your habits, spend more time in His Word, pray when you don't feel like praying, or stand for truth when everyone around you is compromising.

Sometimes obedience feels lonely. Sometimes following God means being different. Sometimes faith means continuing to build while everyone else is wondering what you're doing. But remember Noah.

He wasn't responsible for making the world understand his obedience. He was responsible for obeying God.

There is something deeply encouraging here for us: God may be preparing you before you ever see what He's preparing you for.

Every prayer matters. Every Scripture you memorize matters. Every temptation you resist matters. Every act of obedience matters. Every time you choose Christ over your flesh, you are building. Every time you say yes to God when it would be easier to say no, you are building.

You may not see the purpose today. But keep building. Keep walking. Keep obeying. Keep trusting.

Because faith like Noah isn't simply believing God can do something. Faith like Noah is obeying God before you can see how He will do it.

1. What is God asking me to obey right now that requires me to trust Him before I can see the outcome?

2. Am I allowing the opinions, distractions, or values of the world around me to influence my obedience to God?

3. What am I building today through my prayers, choices, habits, and obedience that could become a place of refuge for myself and others tomorrow?

Heavenly Father, give me faith like Noah. Give me the courage to obey You when I cannot see what is ahead. Help me trust Your Word even when the world around me tells me to think differently, live differently, and compromise what You have called me to stand for.

Forgive me for the times I have allowed fear, comfort, distraction, or the opinions of others to keep me from obedience. Teach me to trust You with what I cannot see. Help me remember that You see the beginning, the middle, and the end when I can only see today. Let my actions demonstrate Your love.

Give me the courage to keep building when I cannot yet see the rain. Give me endurance to keep walking when the journey feels lonely. And give me faith to say, without hesitation:

In Jesus, Amen. 🙏🛡️
