Chester High School 1978-79 Cheerleaders
Tribute To The Seniors of Chester High Class Of 1979 In November 1978, This team was not an all-star team, but was resilient and proud.
We were the first team in 36 Years to win the Championship and we owe it to the CHS 1979 Seniors. With sweat and hard work it was accomplished.

It is with a heavy heart to be sharing with all my dad’s family and friends that last night he passed from this world with a peaceful decent into a quiet and painless sleep. He had been battling a slow progression of congestive heart disease that often tested his strength and will. While his spiritual beliefs and commitment had its peaks and valleys, at the end he embraced it and knew the lord would welcome him with open arms for his homecoming.
Everybody who knew my father, knew he was a complex man. You all knew a unique version of him and sometimes those were quite different from each other. But that is what made him the man loved and respected by so many.
As you may or may not know his time in Vietnam truly shaped the way he lived his life. I was recently reminded that what he survived was his driving motivation to give back the best way he could through football, coaching and touching young people’s lives. It is what he felt was God’s plan. Sometimes that was at a sacrifice to his family, but ultimately, he loved us the best way that he could, and all of the children and grandchildren he has left behind, grew to understand, and accept the love he was able to give. He lived a full life and told me he had no regrets, and he was very blessed to have been part of all of yours.
As you take some time to reflect and remember your relationship with my father, I know he would love it if you had some pictures from your time together and shared it with everyone on this post.
He had been working on what he called his life story but really it was a memoir of how his life intersected with all of you. My promise to him was to make sure that story is shared and I will honor that.
We love you Dad and hope you are at peace with yourself, your parents and are continuing to do what you loved most, Coach!! Watch over us as we will always keep you in our prayers! ❤️
Lastly, I am leaving you with his last words that he made me promise to share.
“To my Facebook friends around the world. This will be my last posting! I just wanted to say goodbye to all of you and that I am very grateful that our paths crossed during this journey we call life! I was Blessed to have met you and had you in my life! I hope that someday I see you all again in “The Upper Room” on the other side!
You guys are alright, but I am probably on the Fence with our creator as usual. “He has The Call”!
Peace Out, Earle W. Mosley III, The Gypsy Coach, The Man with Many Names, Coach Mo, Mosan, Errico, The God Father, The Wizard, Butch, Speedo 😊 etc... “
“Love You All!”
