What a way to start the day! 🧇🧋

Nothing says “we appreciate you” quite like waffles and cold brew! Today, we treated our incredible teachers to a sweet visit from Waffles on Wheels!

Our teachers pour their hearts into their classrooms every single day, filling little minds with knowledge, little hearts with love, and our school with so much joy!

A little caffeine, a lot of waffles, and a whole lot of appreciation for the AMAZING teachers who make our school so special!

What is a Home? 🤔

Students throughout our Preschool classrooms are discovering that home is more than just a place… it’s a space where we can help, care and grow together!

Our Curious Chipmunks are learning to help with everyday tasks around the house this week, building independence, confidence and a stronger sense of self, while also considering their own roles within their classroom community.

One little helping hand at a time, these friends are coming together in celebration of the joy that comes from being a part of something bigger than themselves.

“Red Light, Green Light”, “Simon Says”, “Follow the Leader”… some games just stand the test of time! 🕰️

Strengthening listening, self-control and gross motor skills, our Fantastic Fox Pre-K students came together in a game of “Mother May I ?” today, counting, communicating and giggling their way through some exciting friendly competition!

Waiting patiently, thinking critically and most importantly, having fun with friends, every step forward was a chance to learn, grow and build confidence together.

Kindergarten readiness can show up in everyday moments, not just big milestones. A few signals to notice:

1. They’re building confidence to try things independently. Examples: walking into a room first, asking for help, or giving something new a try.

2. They’re starting to recognize the letters in their name, even if they’re not reading just yet.

3. They’re showing care and responsibility at home. This could include things like helping pack a bag, feeding a pet, putting away toys, or getting through part of their routine with a little more ease.

Every child grows at their own pace - and readiness looks different for every family. Their preschool teachers can be a great partner in noticing strengths, celebrating progress, and helping you think through what comes next.
