About Sexual Assault Awareness Month April 2021 marks twenty years of SAAM — a campaign that shines a light on the issues of sexual harassment, assault, and abuse and focuses on solutions to ending these types of violence.

In honor of the National Day of Silence and Poetry Month, Wideners Wolfgram Memorial Library, the LGBTQ+ Task Force, & the English and Creative Writing Department are holding LGBTQ+ Open Mic Thursday, April 22 at 7pm. Readings are open to all members of the Widener community and all content performed will be written or performed by members of the LGBTQ+ community. Consider joining in for the opportunity to socialize, enjoy live performances, and break the Day of Silence by amplifying LGBTQ+ voices in celebration of our community and culture!
