Providing Christian Education in Chester, PA Frederick Douglass Christian School opened in September, 1995. It offers Pre-K, Kindergarten, 1st and 2nd grades.

Frederick Douglass Christian School is a Christ-centered school, offering excellent academics in a loving, safe, and nurturing environment. Since October of 2014, It is operated under Greater Exodus Baptist Church in Philadelphia, under the leadership of Rev. Dr. Herbert H. Lusk II. This facility also houses the Grace Dental Clinic, which serves people in Chester that have no dental insurance.

❄️📚 Frederick Douglass Christian School Families

We hope everyone stayed safe and warm during the recent snowstorm. School will resume on Wednesday, January 28th.

As road conditions continue to improve, we kindly ask families to leave a little earlier than usual to allow for possible traffic delays and to travel safely during morning drop-off.

Tomorrow, we honor the life, legacy, and enduring impact of Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. A servant leader who courageously stood for justice, equality, and love for all.

Scripture reminds us of this same calling:

“He has shown you, O man, what is good; and what does the Lord require of you but to do justly, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God?”

As we reflect on Dr. King’s legacy of service and faith in action, we encourage our students and families to take time tomorrow to serve, reflect, and lead with love.
