"I believe that educating our children is the most important responsibility that society faces. I consider the task of leading CCCS to be my most important responsibility in life. My goal each day is to ensure that we are holding true to our mission of building a better community, one student at a time. The future for our students at Chester Community Charter School is indeed very promising. 🦋✨ West C Butterfly Project! ✨🦋
Ms. Freeman’s students at West C have been spreading their wings with a fun and creative butterfly project! 🦋💙
This project was designed to encourage teamwork, creativity, and communication while giving students the opportunity to get to know one another as Ms. Freeman gets to know them, too! 💕
Now comes the fun part! 🎨 Each class will have the opportunity to vote for their favorite butterfly display, with the rule that they cannot vote for their own! We can’t wait to see which display wins! 🏆

🍂👻 Spooky Stories & Cross-Grade Creativity at West C! 👻🍂
West C’s Ms. Schneider’s 6th grade and Ms. Ballak’s 3rd grade classes took advantage of the beautiful fall weather today and headed outside for some spooky storytelling! 🍁📖
Our 6th graders became writing buddies and helped our 3rd graders develop their spooky stories, while our 3rd graders got to show off their creativity, imagination, and storytelling skills! ✍️🕷️🎃
It was the perfect way to enjoy the October weather, work together, and get into the spooky spirit! 🧡👻
Big kids helping little kids + lots of creativity = a pretty great West C day! 🍂✨

🍪🔬 Ms. Gould’s 4th Grade Scientists were in the lab today!
Our scholars put their prediction skills to the test with a tasty twist — a science experiment to discover which cookie takes the longest to dissolve. From swirling cups to careful observations, these young scientists were locked in and ready to prove their hypotheses.

They made their predictions… now it’s your turn.
Which cookie do YOU think held on the longest — Oreo, Chips Ahoy, or Vanilla Wafer?
