How Much?
$10-$20 per hour (depends on client payment ability) via Paypal/Venmo/Zelle/ cash
How?
We**am device: Zoom, etc, online tutoring platform, and/or in person (in person restricted to local).
How Long?
1 hour blocks (this is flexible depending on client needs)
When?
Sundays (9AM-10 PM), some weekdays (depends on my availability)

I have been unable to gain a consistent customer base for these Educator sessions. You may be wondering 'can't you get a part-time job in the meantime'? My answer: even before returning to CT, I engaged in consistent job hunting in the CT area and beyond and have continued to do so (secured a Monday-Saturday part-time post). I am also reliant on the local bus system and/or walking for at least some of my transportation. As we change seasons, this is not ideal. Like most of you, I have monthly expenses: student loan payments, phone, storage space for devices, etc. My GoFundMe page has an updated list of these expenses.

I am not just sitting here passively waiting for my dream job to fall into my lap. I am using the tools available to me.
I appeal to fellow history enthusiasts, people who just want to learn more about the world, etc. If you have encountered me online before, you may know that I love ancient history and ancient Egypt in particular! I started a second MA in Bloomington IN). However, for a variety of reasons, I ended up not finishing that MA. I am pivoting academically to Archaeology/Ancient History in general (directed towards a career in the humanities. Currently I am back in CT for at least the next year and a half to two years. My thanks go out to my family, friends, and my larger social circle who have already been instrumental in backing my journey (financially and otherwise)!
As a little teaser, more in depth information on the image below. The actual image = I took myself when I had a chance to travel to Egypt as an undergraduate.
< One of the two "Colossi of Memnon" statues = both statues were originally part of a more extensive royal burial complex from Egypt's New Kingdom (Pharaoh Amenhotep III) in the area of modern-day Luxor (ancient Thebes)
< Partly, because a large chunk of this complex was originally constructed in the flood plain, (i.e where food can grow both back then and now) = the majority of this complex has not survived.
< = Two statues are some of the largest components still remaining.
