2 years ago on this day we had to reschedule class due to the untimely loss of our matriarch. Today, we chose to celebrate the fun-loving, creative legacy she leaves behind with a party-themed class in her memory. One of the highlights was sno cones using a machine that she bought for her and her granddaughters. It brought them so much joy! 🍧

This sno cone is for you, Mom! 💞🍧💞

So thankful for all the impromptu crafts, concoctions, and cake batter she made with me, and for the never-ending support she gave to The Crafty Chef Academy (pic of cake she gave us to celebrate years ago).🎂

So what did you learn at the Rec this week?!?!
The intersection between Financial Literacy and Food!!!

It was a massive bull market Friday and we generated maximum returns on fun!!! 🏦

These savvy investors learned lots about brand ethos and food/beverage companies that they love. Best part, they left with a diverse portfolio of treats to enjoy over the long term with a reminder of everything in moderation 😜

After blind taste-testing of Coke vs Pepsi vs Off brand, it was concluded that the brand loyalty they came in with was not as strong as they once thought. The only steadfast belief was that the off brand was inferior to the other two. 🥤

Oh, and it was confirmed through CYOC that they do, in fact, believe CMG (aka Chipotle) is worth the investment and positioned for significant growth.

We don’t want to rush summer, but we cannot wait to have fun in the crafty kitchen for this one. We save August workshops for our favorite over-the-top cake decorating classes. Last year was the super hit “Defying Gravity” cake and this summer we bring you our “Cookie Explosion”. Let’s just say you can have your cake and eat cookies, too! This is such a beautiful creation, you’ll want to take plenty of pics before you indulge. You will go home with your very own cake to share
