ATTENTION
LAST TBALL AND BBALL(coach pitch) sign ups for Gallia County Little League are this Sunday February 20, 2022 @ GAHS 2-3pm.

Any other kid that wants to play with GCLL may come and do final signup as well Sunday before teams are placed. We want every kid to have a chance to play ball!

Gallia County Little League will hold its 2022 Baseball and Softball evaluations February 6th and 13th(only need to attend 1) 2-4pm at the Gallia Academy High School gym. This league is open to all children of Gallia county regardless of school location. The evaluation is for any child planning on playing 10u (minor), 12u(major), or 14u(Junior) Little league. All paperwork will be completed on site for the season, a parents meeting and Q and A will be held also during the evaluation. All teams will be drafted at the completion of the evaluations. We will also be hosting an 6u(T-ball) and 8u(coach pitch) evaluation at a later date. There will be a $25 registration fee due at sign-up.

Nice start to the season with Zach Green, Ray Allen, Amanda Lawson and the Little Raiders all starting the season with the DUB! Great job players and coaches!!!

With the season approaching very soon, I need to get volunteers to clean out the concession stand and make a trip to Sams. The home plates need reset also! Need to get this done ASAP!

Attention Parents: We are going to need parents to step up and volunteer to get thru the season. I need someone to volunteer to head up field maintenance, and to make sure the concession stand is properly stocked. Over the course of the past few years my wife and I have not asked for much help and the ones that have helped it is greatly appreciated and doesn’t go unnoticed. With that being said our schedule with our own kids will not allow us to do all that we have for all the kids the past few years. Please reach out to me if you are willing to help!

As of now we are planning to have a season. We are only in charge of t-ball and coach pitch.
The older kids have to sign up with the Gallia County Little League. They have a page with more details and dates on it.
For the younger kids we are trying to set a date, time, and location for sign-ups sometime in the next 2 weeks.

Here are birthday cutoffs and age groups:

Boys
8u, 10u, 12u, 14u, and 18u. Birthday cutoff is June 1st

Girls
8u, 10u, 13u, 17u, and 18+ Birthday cutoff is January 1st with the except of 17u which is June 1st.

This is for any kid in Gallia County. Our goal is to keep kids together with the school they attend but that is not always possible. Also, if we do not have enough teams in the age groups to play in Gallia County, we will be playing in Middleport with the except of tee ball. Tee ball will stay in Gallia County. Please share (you will have to copy the text). Also, remember the first sign ups are tomorrow, July 19 @ 7 at the park in Rio Grande. This is across from the elementary school. If you signed up in the fall, you will have to sign up again. Sorry. Please bring your own pen and be mindful of those around you when social distancing. There will be an option to email in the information if you are more comfortable doing so. Thank you!!
