2026 Spring Break with Cheshire Robotics Explorers was a success!
🧠🦴❤️ Our Human Anatomy Robotics Camp was an incredible experience, and the kids had an amazing time learning how their bodies work while building their own “robot humans”! From exploring bones and muscles to discovering how the heart pumps and the brain sends signals, each day was packed with hands-on fun using LEGO, creative models, and exciting challenges. We also extended the learning beyond camp with real-world activities like climbing, swimming, and more—so kids could feel their body systems in action! 🚀 It was truly an unforgettable STEM adventure!

Golden Cats CRE EXPO 🐾✨
Our amazing 2nd and 3rd grade team, Golden Cats CRE, took the stage at their EXPO this weekend! Their hard work, creativity, and teamwork truly stood out as they confidently presented their project and model.

Our team had an amazing season using the Engineering Design Process—Identify, Design, Create, Iterate, and Communicate to solve a real-world problem: protecting hidden archaeological artifacts from heavy construction. They designed a lightweight, beetle-inspired robot with thin legs to safely move across dig sites and used an ultrasonic sensor to avoid obstacles. Built and coded on the SPIKE app with multiple code stacks, their robot improved through teamwork, testing, and persistence. The kids supported each other every step of the way—and when it finally worked, everyone celebrated together.

So proud of how much they’ve grown this season and how brightly they shined at the New England Air Museum for their finale! 💛🤖

LEGO Cubs’ 1st EXPO 🤩
Our youngest robotics team—kindergarten and 1st grade—had their very first showcase this Saturday! The kids learned so much this season and truly shined during their team model presentation at the New England Air Museum for their grand finale 💖

Techno Huskies CRE worked hard to prepare for the qualifiers! Today their efforts and persistence earned them two awards, Robot Design and Robot Performance (finalist for high score).
And we advanced to the State championship in Glastonbury next month!

What a great weekend we had, thanks to the efforts and commitment of kids, parents and mentors, our pre-rookie Challenge team took first price at Tolland County Robotics Rumble. And Saturday Expo was a success. Teams received “Poseidon’s Power Award” and “Shores of Gracious Professionalism Award”. Everyone had shined and we are so proud of you!
