Just Like Home Childcare I am a licensed childcare provider who has been helping families for over 24 yrs in my nurturing home It was at this time that I became very disillusioned.

My name is Shelly Fisher-Parsley and I began doing childcare in my home over 20 years ago, soon after my son Alex was born. Like most mothers on maternity leave, I started looking at places, centers and other facilities, where I could take my son when it was time for me to return to work. Maybe I was just being a "picky parent" but all I wanted was a caring and nurturing environment where Alex wou

ld have all his needs met in a more personalized and intimate setting. Feeling good about where he was and the care he was getting would allow me to go on to work and do my job with peace of mind. There are so many children in need of, and deserving of quality care, and so many parents in search of just that. With my many years of experience working in a pediatric medical office, my love for children, and being a mother myself, I decided to become a child care provider and it has proved to be most rewarding.
