Supply Drop-Off will take place this Thursday, September 3rd, from 1:00–3:00 p.m. for all students in Pre-K through 8th Grade.
Important: Due to the exciting construction of our new Pre-K Courtyard Playground, which is still in progress, all families (Pre-K–8) should enter through the school's Main Entrance for supply drop-off.
We look forward to seeing you on Thursday and can't wait to welcome everyone back for a fantastic year!

Happy Monday, y’all!

This week, I got to take a little trip over to the Epiphany House to visit my new friends, Sister Fiat Marie and Joe Gagliardi. Wow, they are GREAT folks!

While I was there, I got to listen in on a pretty exciting conversation. Sister Fiat and Joe have been talking about bringing back their biblical series, The Word and Us, and they’re planning on having Father Aidan join them.

Well, I sure do think that’s a mighty fine idea. I’ve watched a few episodes myself, and I think Father Aidan would be a wonderful addition to the crew!

So y’all keep an eye out. Sounds like The Word and Us may be coming back with some new episodes in September. Aaaaand, if they happen to need a handsome little beagle for one of their episodes, well...I reckon they know where to find me.

It is with a heavy heart that we share the passing of John Rowinski, who passed away just one year after his wife, Judy Rowinski.

John and Judy were devoted to St. Bridget Parish and School for years. John quietly supported the school and his wife in countless ways—building, painting, setting up classrooms, helping with concerts, Memorial Day floats, and fundraising projects that helped our school grow. His generosity and willingness to serve touched so many.
In lieu of flowers, our family kindly requests donations to the Judy Rowinski Student Scholarship Fund, continuing her legacy of supporting St. Bridget students.

Thank you for remembering John and Judy in your prayers.

Mark your calendars! Our Parish Picnic is coming up on September 13th.

Grab the family, come enjoy some good food, and make a Sunday afternoon of it!

At this point, y’all know how great my sniffer is- I can find almost anything!

So, I picked up an awesome scent and followed my expert nose; it led to some of Sister Fiat Marie’s amazing iced coffee at the Epiphany House. Score! (She puts Starbucks and Dunkin’ Donuts to shame)

But then, I found something even better- I discovered our beautiful Adoration Chapel!

Woo-wee, it’s warm and cozy in here, and I have to say, it’s a pretty peaceful place to sit and pray. But when you add in the opportunity to worship the Holy Eucharist more personally, well, that’ll just blow your socks off. I think I may have found my new favorite spot at the Epiphany House!

Make sure you sign up for Adoration through our website, cheshirecatholic.org, but truth be told, I can’t guarantee Sister Fiat Marie’s famous iced coffee will come with it!

Meet our summer Dream Team—our Principal, Assistant Principal, and amazing office staff—working hard behind the scenes to make sure St. Bridget School is ready for an incredible new school year!

While the classrooms have been quiet, they've been busy planning, organizing, solving problems, preparing schedules, welcoming new families, and making sure every detail is in place for a smooth start. Their dedication and teamwork help make SBS the special place it is.
