The Yellow House is a part of the Youth Services division of Human Services Department and hosts programs throughout the year both afterschool and on weekend evenings for Cheshire youth. The activities that are offered through the Yellow House are recreational while encouraging positive youth development. Our activities, trips and programs allow youth and teens the opportunity to meet new people,

and have a place to “hang” with their friends that is a fun and safe environment. In addition to the weekend programs, the Yellow House provides various leadership programs and community service opportunities for high school aged youth throughout the school year. 📢 (Almost) End of Summer Party Postponed 🌦️

After carefully monitoring the weather forecast, we've made the difficult decision to postpone tonight's (Almost) End of Summer Party due to unpredictable weather conditions.

We know many families were looking forward to this event, and we appreciate your understanding. Attendance grew from approximately 25 registered children on Thursday evening to more than 50 participants by this morning, and with the uncertain forecast, postponing is the best decision to ensure everyone has a safe and enjoyable experience.

🎒 Back to School Party Mark your calendars for September 26! More details will be shared in the coming weeks. We will also have a designated rain plan in place should inclement weather arise.

Fuel the Fun!
Parents and community members have often asked how they can support the Yellow House. Snacks are always a good option, because we go through ALOT of them each week.

If you're interested in helping keep our pantry stocked here is our Amazon Wish List. Snacks can be ordered and mailed directly to our office (19 Wallingford Road, Cheshire) so we can get them to the kids to enjoy at weekly programming.
