Milestones Child Development Center Developing The Holistic Child By Promoting A Standard Of Academic Excellence, Encouraging Interactiv Milestones has an open door policy for all of our parents.

Here at MILESTONES CHILD DEVELOPMENT CENTER, we believe that the key to a successful program is open communication between you, your child’s teacher, and the program director. We welcome and encourage your visit at any time! Stop by and eat lunch with your child, tuck him/her nap, or just observe their daily activities! Our Program Director, Management Team, and Staff will always be available for any concerns or comments you may have, and we appreciate you sharing any insight into your child’s life that could influence his/her progress at the center. At least twice during the year formal parent conferences will be held. We also encourage informal conferences regularly. Feel free to schedule an appointment with your child’s teacher to discuss his/her social, emotional, physical and intellectual development and any other areas interest. Our monthly calendar, combined with posted reminders, will keep you informed of all center activities. We also host several special events during the year, designed to provide parents, children, and family members with opportunities to enjoy each other here at Milestones. Events include Open House, Picture Days, Fall Festival, Graduation, as well as other holidays and traditions with special meaning for our center families. Each event is meant to be shared time which gives parents on opportunity to get to know each other, to talk with the child’s teachers, and to have an ‘inside’ look at their child’s center experience.

At Milestones we have adopted Funshine Express for our daily curriculum use! It is separated into age groups: Buttercups Babies 3-12 months, Buttercups 0-3, and Fireflies 3-5. We have been guiding and fostering development using this curriculum for 3 months now. Our students are having quite a blast learning!

Happy Friday! As long as the rain does as planned we are still on for tonight! It’s supposed to stop no later than 4. Therefore, no rain at 5 we are a go! We have several volunteers: staff, parents, and from the community. We will also have a hot dog Vendor this year: K&S selling a delicious hotdog combo for $6. Please come visit from 530-730!
