📜CONSTITUTION DAY! Our 5th graders brought the signing of the U.S. Constitution to life for Lower School chapel with their annual Constitution Day reenactment! It’s always a fun way to make history come alive and give our students a chance to see the principles behind our founding document in action.

After chapel, Lower School students headed back to their classrooms to create and “ratify” their own classroom constitutions. And a fun connection this year: Our annual Constitution Day chapel fell on the actual anniversary of the Constitution’s signing and during America’s 250th anniversary year.

👏Great job, 5th Grade!

A great start to the school year begins with celebrating faithful work completed over the summer!

Congratulations to our Lower School students who earned Summer Reading Awards by completing their summer reading goals. We also want to recognize our 4th and 5th grade students who completed the Summer Math Program, demonstrating diligence in keeping their math skills sharp during the break.

👏👏 We are proud of each student for demonstrating a commitment to scholarship, even during the summer months.

🏈 What a way to make history! In StoneBridge Football’s first-ever game last week, the Cavs put three touchdowns on the board against Lawrence Academy, with Colton Ethridge running in as the first player to score a TD in StoneBridge history, followed by Luke Backens and Phelix Mutia.

👏Congratulations to these three and to the entire team that made those moments possible. With just a few weeks of full-contact football behind them, three TDs in their first game is a testament to this team and their coaches. (Swipe to the end for TD highlights reel!)

Now, they’re bringing it home. Come out and support the Cavs this week!

HOME GAME | Tuesday, Sept. 8
5:00 PM @ Cavalier Manor in Portsmouth.

DID YOU KNOW? Last year, 20 Lower School students successfully completed our Tyndale Bible Award Program!

What a joy to celebrate these students once again who committed themselves to hiding God's Word in their hearts. As they memorized and recited Scripture in chapel, they weren't simply learning verses; they were building a lifelong foundation of faith, developing confidence in public speaking, strengthening their memory, and growing in their love for God's Word.

This year, we'd love to see even more students take on the challenge! The Tyndale Bible Award is an optional program for students in Pre-K through 5th grade that encourages children to memorize larger portions of Scripture beyond their weekly Bible assignments. It's a meaningful opportunity to grow spiritually while developing skills that will benefit them for years to come.

If your child is ready for the challenge, we encourage you to sign them up and join us in filling young hearts and minds with the truth of God's Word. Check FACTS Announcements or your email for more details.
