We operate more like a close family, with a fun and relaxed program that caters to each child's needs; yet our personal care also includes educational goals and regular craft projects and lessons to get the kids ready for full-time school programs. Lily Pad Childcare is a small, in-home daycare that provides care for infants and toddlers. Our "regular" hours are Monday-Friday between 6:00 a.m. and 5 p.m., with the exception of standard holidays. INFANT CARE
Lily Pad Childcare loves caring for infants, and many toddlers enrolled today have been with our center since their earliest days away from home! We understand that babies have their own individual needs, so we pride ourselves on giving our youngest patrons their own unique schedules. Each infant is assigned a crib for nap time, and are invited to play in a variety of settings safe for baby (swings, exersaucer, gated floor area), as their skills dictate. They are also given individualized attention, which is so important for stimulating baby's social development. Most importantly, we talk to our parents to make sure that we give each baby what he or she needs. TODDLER CARE
Toddlers are important at Lily Pad Childcare, and we take extra care to give them the love and attention they crave while they are away from mom and dad. We operate our toddler program based on a daily schedule, though we sometimes alter the day's plans based on the children's needs. Lessons and crafts are a big part of the toddler program, and we study everything from colors and letters to shapes and animals. Lily Pad Childcare also emphasizes outdoor play and physical fitness, as we believe that healthy, active children grow up to be healthy, active adults.
