Today was a bittersweet day. Today Lily Pad Child Care officially closed their doors for good. 😢

22 years ago I was blessed when my father looked at me and told me he was selling a house not far from where I was living, he explained that she ran an in home daycare and wanted all the kids to go to the same provider together ….. I opened my inhome daycare 2 weeks later and have been running strong for the past 22 years. 👶🏻❤️

For 22 years I have bought diapers, for 22 years I have welcomed countless families into my home, for 22 I have been blessed to do what I love. 👶🏻❤️

I was blessed to stay at home with my own children and see all of their “firsts” while providing a steady income for our family. As my youngest graduates this upcoming week, I decided it was time to move on. 👨‍🎓

22 years ago I told myself I wanted kids and I didn’t want anyone else raising them - I am happy to say I upheld this promise to myself. ❤️

The last 22 years have had their fair share of struggles but man have they also had their fair share of some wonderful and special moments. I wouldn’t change anything, the good, the bad, it all made me who I am today.

To all the parents that trusted me with your kids over the past 22 years. Thank you! Thank you for allowing me to do what I love. To everyone that supported me and my business … Thank you! 👶🏻❤️

Here is to a new chapter in my life and new adventures. 🌟🏡🌟

Well I can now make it "Facebook Official".... After 22 years in business, Lily Pad Childcare is officially closing its doors on Friday June 7th. This decision brings such a wide range of emotions, from tears of sadness as I will truly miss the children and families I have served over the past 22 years, yet on the other hand I am very excited about the next chapter of my life as I will be joining the Doll Team at RE/MAX Alliance as a full time Realtor specializing in working both with buyers and sellers as well as joining our Property Management team.
I would like to thank everyone who has helped me grow my childcare business over the past 22 years. You have enabled me to stay at home and raise my own three boys while bringing in an income to support my family. Truly the best of both worlds!
Your trust, compassion, understanding, and friendships have not gone unnoticed. I will truly miss this business!
However, with Jacob (my youngest son) graduating this year I knew it was time to move on to the next chapter of my life. I have actually had my Real Estate license for the past 22 years knowing one day this transition would come.
I have spent the last 22 years helping families raise their children, now I look forward to spending the next 22 years helping families with one of the biggest decision of their lives. Whether it is buying a new home, selling their current home, or hiring a property manager, I am here for it all.

We have a full time toddler spot available starting Monday February 26th.
Tuition includes diapers, wipes, breakfast, lunch, & a PM snack.
We run off of a full curriculum and do in house field trips during the summer months.
