Are we still practicing sight words? Absolutely.

But we’re also creating opportunities for learners to experience reading in ways that feel engaging, approachable, and maybe even fun. 💙

Because meaningful learning doesn’t always have to look like learning.

Sometimes, it looks a whole lot like play.

Mini Ready, Set, Focus! gives younger learners a small-group space to practice executive functioning skills in a way that feels engaging, supportive, and fun.

Through games, movement, and hands-on activities, learners work on skills like:

💬 Problem-solving
🌱 Self-regulation

These skills don’t develop through pressure. They grow through practice, connection, and opportunities to try again.

Our first night back was full of building, gaming, problem-solving, laughter, and a welcome game designed to help everyone get to know each other in a low-pressure way.

These are the moments we love most: learners gathering around shared interests, helping each other, starting conversations, and finding their place in the group.

Because connection doesn’t always start with a big introduction.

Sometimes it starts with a favorite game, a LEGO piece, a shared laugh, or a simple question.
