Welcome Hiali Dojos new student Eddie Buccellati. He is excited to learn and even more excited to compete in our next competition.

What is Hiali Karate Do?
Hiali Karate Do is an animal inspired system with roots in Peter Urbans Go-Ju Ryu and Harris Karate Do. It takes an adaptive approach with each animal focusing on a different rhythm of fighting and using stress testing with active resistance on its theories and techniques. Sparring is approached with a full contact mindset. Hiali karate Do promotes a healthy mind, body, and spirit through its practices as one can only be at their best when proper health is achieved.

Ranks are as follows.
white belt - Cat
Yellow belt -Bull
Green belt - Spider
Purple belt-Python
Brown belt -Shark
Black belt - Hummingbird

We had a great time training with Cova Kai Karate it was a very informative session where we got to see a different rhythm. Thank you to all the instructors for sharing your knowledge.

I am beyond proud at crystal for competing at her first tournament. She trained for months and faced many challenges and frustrations and yet she rose above all of it and came out with two 1st place medals.

We had a great time at Chesapeake Jeet Kune Do learning some weapon drills it was a fun seminar and really made us think about how techniques translate into different weapons. Thank you Sifu Robb and Sifu Kevin for hosting the seminar.
