Since as early as 1918, Adventist education has long established itself as a building block to academic achievement in Christian education. Tidewater Christian Academy offers academic instruction with an emphasis on excellence in general studies, character education and Christian service. Although most students are members of the Seventh-day Adventist faith, all students who meet basic admission requirements are enrolled without regard to religion, gender or race. A diverse school body, TCA is comprised of individuals from multiple cultural backgrounds. Tidewater Christian Academy serves students from PreK (age 4) through 8th grade. Classroom sizes are small (max of 16 students) and multi-grade, allowing teachers to provide exceptional individualized attention to students. Students who are working ahead or are struggling each receive the support they need to succeed and reach higher levels of learning.
