AP Spanish is finishing up the year with azulejos of their chosen cultural project featuring Semana Santa, Camino de Santiago and El Caribe. These azulejos will grace the ceilings of our classroom for years to come.

What is the best class you took in high school and why?

Student Council was the best class I took in high school because it was more than just planning pep rallies and making posters. We made an impact in our community and volunteered our time to benefit others. I truly feel like we made a difference in our school and community.

Please share your best advice for the rising senior class.

My best advice would be to say yes to new experiences. Senior year is a time to grow as a person before you leave high school, so volunteer in the community, join a new club, get involved in your school, and try something new.

Calling all Hickory High School seniors! Join us for our Senior Grad Walk on Friday, June 12th at 10:20 AM.

Wear your graduation regalia and come celebrate this special milestone as you walk the halls one last time as a Hawk! 🩵🖤

Students in Ms. Poarch’s Into to Fashion class did a Jean repurposing activity.

Field trip to the NSA National Cryptologic Museum to learn about the history of ciphers and computer science.

Mr. Siler’s Engineering design students spent the day learning from professionals at Busch gardens on rollercoaster design. This group also had a 100% pass rate on their engineering design certification test! Congratulations!
