🧭 Myth Monday #4: "PTA is just about fundraising."

❌ Trail Tale!

Fundraising is only one small part of what PTA does.

✨ The truth: PTA is about creating opportunities.

Your membership helps support students, encourage teachers, strengthen school pride, bring families together, and make Western Branch Intermediate an even better place to learn and grow.

Yes, fundraising helps make those things possible—but it's never the goal. It's simply one of the tools we use to invest in our school community.

🐻 PTA is about people, not just profits.

Together, we're building experiences, creating connections, and helping every Bruin succeed.

🧭 Myth Monday #3: "PTA is only for moms."

❌ Trail Tale!

PTA isn't just for one type of person—it's for everyone who cares about helping our Bruins succeed.

Whether you're a dad, mom, grandparent, guardian, teacher, family member, or community supporter, there's a place for you in PTA. Every perspective, every talent, and every membership helps make our school stronger.

You don't have to fit a certain role to make a difference. You just have to care about our students.

🐻 When our whole community comes together, amazing things happen.

✨ Every family. Every voice. Every Bruin.

🐻💙💛 LOOK AT OUR BRUINS GO!

We kicked off our journey with a BIG goal: 400 WBI PTA members this year—and we’re already at 176 MEMBERS! 🎉

That means we’re 44% of the way to our goal, and the school year is just getting started!

Every membership adds another voice to our PTA and helps us continue supporting our students, teachers, staff, and the entire WBI community. And remember—joining PTA doesn’t mean you have to volunteer! Your membership itself matters.

🧭 176 Bruins strong…and still exploring!
🐾 Next stop: 200 MEMBERS!

🧭 Myth Monday #2: "I have to attend every meeting."

❌ Trail Tale!

One of the biggest reasons families hesitate to join PTA is thinking they have to attend every meeting or event.

✨ Here's the truth: PTA membership is flexible.

Attend when you can. Stay connected in the ways that work best for your family. Whether you're able to come to every meeting, volunteer occasionally, or simply become a member, you're helping create opportunities for every Bruin.

Every membership helps us support students, encourage teachers, strengthen our school community, and build Bruin pride.

🐻 Your membership isn't measured by attendance—it's measured by the impact we make together.
