Chesapeake High School – Chesapeake, Ohio, is seeking a dedicated Varsity Wrestling Coach to lead and manage all aspects of its high school wrestling program. The successful candidate will plan and conduct practices, develop student-athletes’ technical skills, conditioning, and sportsmanship, and prepare the team for competition while fostering a positive, disciplined, and inclusive team culture. Responsibilities include ensuring compliance with school policies and Ohio High School Athletic Association (OHSAA) regulations, supervising assistant coaches, communicating effectively with athletes, parents, and administration, supporting academic achievement, and managing scheduling, equipment, and program organization. Qualified applicants should have prior coaching experience (preferred), strong knowledge of wrestling techniques and rules, the ability to build positive relationships, and must meet or be able to obtain all required Ohio coaching certifications.
