Grassfield's TSA organization We aim to compete and win companions at the regional level, the start level, and the national level.
The technology student association (TSA) is a club at grassfield High School were many members come together in order to expand their knowledge of technology and to help others learn of technology and team work.

TSA Nationals in Nashville. These students did both Grassfield and Chesapeake proud. We didn’t come back with any trophies but we did return with great memories and the knowledge that we did our best. We’ll miss the 10 seniors heading to college in the fall.

Today’s the day. 11 Grassfield students head off to Nashville today to represent Grassfield and Chesapeake at the TSA National Conference.

18 days until 11 amazing students travel to Nashville to represent Grassfield High School and Chesapeake Public Schools at the Technology Student Association’s National Conference. They will be competing in 12 different events.

WOW!! What a weekend. Grassfield did fantastic. At awards today we had two 1st Place finishes (Architectural Design and On Demand Video), one 2nd Place (Debating Technological Issues) and a 3rd place (Video Game Design). Additionally we had 19 other Top 10 finishes. We helped Chesapeake place 5th in the state for most competitive cities and 5th in most competitive high schools. Mr Emler received the John Monroe Advisor of the Year award. Next is Nationals in Nashville.
It’s that time of year again. Virginia TSA Technosphere!!! Grassfield has 53 students competing in 34 different competitions and 3 students running for state office. We’ll keep you updated

Yesterday Grassfield hosted the TSA Tidewater Regional Fair. The 5.8 miles is how much Mr Emler walked during the event making sure everything went smoothly. Grassfield did fantastic earning 14- 1st place finishes, 11- 2nd place finishes, 9- 3rd place finishes and won the elections for Regional President, Regional Vice President, Regional Secretary and Regional Historian.

As we finish this school year with 7 Grassfield students attending the national conference, it’s time for me to reach out to my friends and family.
If you have a/any navy blue blazers/sport coats that you’re looking to get rid of, please consider donating them to my Technology Student Association group at Grassfield HS.
Our organization is growing each year and I need to obtain more coats for the students to wear at conferences/competitions.

Days 1&2 are in the books. Grassfield is now a semi finalist in Digital Video Production, Webmaster, and Photographic Technology. Waiting to hear about Extemporaneous Speech. The guys will be very busy today making their On Demand Video and attending semifinalists interviews.
