ATTENTION ALL KPVG TENANTS:
ON 15 SEPTEMBER 2016,
THE KPVG UNICOM FREQUENCY WILL CHANGE
FROM 122.975 to 122.725.
For over a year, we received multiple reports from various pilots notifying us of poor UNICOM communications. In response to these reports, airport personnel enlisted the assistance of the Va Dept of Aviation and its corporate aircraft to troubleshoot the problem. Their field testing determined that the source of the problem was frequency interference generated by the equipment mounted on the nearby towers. They also determined that the new frequency experienced a much lower rate of interference.
We continually strive to improve every aspect of KPVG infrastructure and service, and trust you will find this change to your benefit.
