🚔🐾 We had some special visitors at GBCA last week!

Officer Matherson and his K-9 partner, Vader, from the Chesapeake Police Department stopped by to visit our K5 classes! Our students loved meeting Vader, seeing the police vehicle up close, and learning more about how K-9 officers help keep our community safe.

A huge thank you to Officer Matherson and Vader for taking the time to visit and give our students such a fun and memorable experience! 💙🐾

Last week was a great week at GBCA! 🎉 Our students enjoyed a full week of resource classes, including Computer, Art, Spanish, and Home Economics. 🇺🇸 WE REMEMBER | SEPTEMBER 11, 2001

Today, we pause to remember the lives lost on September 11, 2001, and to honor the heroes who courageously ran toward danger to help others.

We remember the families whose lives were forever changed. We remember the first responders, service members, and countless Americans who demonstrated incredible courage, sacrifice, and unity in the days that followed.

May we never forget. May we continue to pray for our nation, and may we always be grateful for those who serve and protect us.

50 YEARS OF GOD’S FAITHFULNESS!

Great Bridge Free Will Baptist Church is celebrating 50 years, and Great Bridge Christian Academy is celebrating 25 years! We would love for you to join us for our 50th Anniversary Celebration Weekend — October 23–25, 2026!

Celebrating 25 Years of Great Bridge Christian Academy!

We especially want to welcome everyone who has been part of GBCA—especially our alumni! Come help us celebrate and remember the wonderful things God has done.

Saturday, October 24 | 3:00 PM

Enjoy a meal and a special time of fellowship and reminiscing with
friends and family.

Sunday, October 25 | 10:30 AM

We will close our celebration with a special Worship Service. Bro. Jim Marcum and Mrs. Vicki will be our special guests that day! Bro. Jim will be preaching!
