Collaboration 🤝 team-building 🤝 student success

Our annual nursing faculty retreat provided an opportunity for faculty to collaborate and discuss continuous improvements. Along with a productive work session, they enjoyed team-building activities and a guided tour of future office space, which helped us envision the next chapter of our nursing program.

Overall, our team left feeling energized and ready to continue delivering excellent nursing education!

Sentara College will be closed Monday, May 25, for Memorial Day. We will reopen Tuesday, May 26, at 7:30am.

Congratulations to the Class of 2026! 🎓 You’ve earned this moment through hard work 💪 and heart ❤️, and it’s only the beginning of what you’ll accomplish. We can’t wait to see the incredible impact you’ll make in the world! 🌍✨

2026 Commencement Ceremony

Tomorrow is Commencement, the biggest day of the year at Sentara College. But today is a close second, because we're excited to announce that YOU voted us a Best of Coastal Virginia for the tenth year in a row!

Friday is the last day to donate new or gently used items to Parents in Need, thanks to Chi Kappa. Use the boxes in the lobby and outside room 310 to give clothes, diapers, formula, wipes, lotion, and more to young families. See the full list of suggestions at the donation sites, and thank you for your kindness!

You may not remember your last day of clinicals, but you can be sure these nursing sophomores do! It's not every day you get to tour the helipad a Sentara Norfolk General Hospital, but when you do, it's epic!
