What a way to celebrate our amazing 5th graders! 🎉

One of Southeastern Elementary’s most honored traditions is the annual 5th Grade End-of-Year Party—a celebration students look forward to throughout their entire elementary school journey. This special event serves as one final send-off before these students begin their next adventure as middle schoolers.

A huge thank you to our dedicated staff, administration, 5th grade families, vendors, and countless volunteers who came together to make this celebration such a memorable success. Your time, energy, and support created an unforgettable day filled with fun, laughter, and lasting memories.

To our 5th graders: we are so proud of all you have accomplished during your time at Southeastern. As you close this chapter and prepare for the next, remember that you will always be part of the Southeastern family.

Our graduating seniors returned to Southeastern Elementary today to walk the halls one last time. These former Hawks were cheered on by our current students as they celebrated this special milestone in cap and gown. We are so proud of the Class of 2026! 🎓

As we close out another incredible school year, we want to take a moment to celebrate two amazing Southeastern staff members who are beginning a well-deserved retirement.

🩵 Holly Rogers – Guidance Department

After 25 years of dedicated service at Southeastern, while also sharing her talents with Chittum and Butts Road Primary, Holly is retiring and leaving behind an incredible legacy. Through her work in Guidance and her leadership with our Christmas for Families program, Holly has touched the lives of countless students, families, and staff members. Her compassion, dedication, and caring heart have made Southeastern a better place for everyone. We wish her many wonderful adventures as she begins this exciting new chapter filled with travel and new memories!

🩵 Linda Cameron – 5th Grade Teacher

For 19 years, Linda has called Southeastern home. During her time here, she spent 13 years teaching 5th grade, 3 years in 4th grade, and 3 years in 3rd grade, helping shape the lives of so many students along the way. In addition to her work in the classroom, Linda has faithfully served as our SCA Sponsor, helping students develop leadership skills, school spirit, and a heart for service. Her dedication to our students and school community has left a lasting impact that will be felt for years to come. As she heads into retirement, Linda is looking forward to an exciting trip to Hawaii this summer and welcoming her sixth grandchild in December!

Please join us in thanking Holly and Linda for their years of service, dedication, and love for Southeastern. We are grateful for everything they have given to our school community and wish them both a retirement filled with joy, relaxation, adventure, and family.

Calling all Former Southeastern Lil' Hawks Seniors! Please join us for a Class of '26 Grad Walk on Friday, June 12th, 2026 @ 1:00PM.

The walk will last approximately 10-15 minutes. Be sure to park in the back gravel lot. Come dressed in your cap and gown and be sure to share with your fellow Southeastern friends! The PTA would love to get a group picture so be sure to be on time. 🎓

Please note parents and guests will not be allowed in the building for the walk, but can take pictures outside. 📸

🎨 Tie Dye Party Reminder for 4th Grade Families! 👕

Good morning parents! The 4th grade room parents are sending a reminder that they are asking each child to send in one plain white shirt for the end-of-year tie dye party.

📅 Shirts are due by Wednesday, May 27th
