We’re hiring a warm, engaging, and experienced nanny for a wonderful family near the Coast Guard Station in Elizabeth City 🤍

👶 Child: Mira, 4 months
📅 Start: October 23, 2026 or sooner
🕘 Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9 AM–5 PM
💰 Pay: $20–$22/hour
⏰ 30 guaranteed hours/week
🏡 Long-term, live-out position

The family is looking for someone nurturing, active, patient, and proactive who will support Mira’s development through play, reading, tummy time, walks, and age-appropriate activities. Infant experience and familiarity with sleep training are a plus.

Applicants must have 2+ years of professional childcare experience, reliable transportation, CPR/First Aid certification, and meet Coastal Child Care’s screening requirements.

✨ Non-smoker required. Current Tdap and seasonal flu vaccine required; COVID vaccine preferred.

Nanny Appreciation Week is September 20–26, and you don’t need a huge budget to make your nanny feel celebrated 💛

A favorite coffee, a handwritten note from the kids, their go-to snacks, flowers, lunch on you, or even letting them head home a little early can be incredibly meaningful.

If you’re able to do a little more, a bonus, extra PTO or a special gift is always appreciated, but the most important part is simply taking the time to say thank you.

🌊 Virginia Beach, VA Part-Time Nanny Needed!

Coastal Child Care is hiring a warm, dependable nanny for a family in the Oceanfront area of Virginia Beach caring for a 3-year-old girl and 1-year-old boy.

📅 Start: ASAP – May 2027
💰 Pay: $20/hour
⏰ 20 guaranteed hours/week

Schedule: 2 days per week between Monday, Thursday, and Friday, approximately 7:30 AM–5:30 PM. Mondays + Fridays preferred!

Most of the day will be spent one-on-one with the 1-year-old, with both children together later in the afternoon.

The family is looking for someone nurturing, reliable, engaging, and comfortable creating a fun, structured routine with outdoor play, books, crafts, and hands-on learning.

✨ 2+ years childcare experience
✨ CPR & First Aid certified
✨ Valid driver’s license + reliable vehicle
✨ Non-smoker
✨ Must pass required background screenings
