🚗 CMS MORNING DROP-OFF & AFTERNOON PICK-UP ROUTINE 🚗

Parents, please remember that morning student drop-off and afternoon student pick-up at Chesapeake Middle School (CMS) should be done by entering through the gate on the western side of Chesapeake High School (CHS) and following the designated pick-up/drop-off line that goes around the high school and behind the stadium.

⏰ Morning Reminder: CMS doors open at 7:15 AM. Please plan accordingly when dropping students off. (Students cross in front of the vehicle that drops the student off if they are on the passenger side of the car.)

🚗 Afternoon Reminder: Students who are being picked up at the end of the school day will not exit the building until 3:00 PM. Please remain in the designated pick-up line (the same route that morning drop off follows) and follow the traffic pattern.

Following this route helps keep traffic moving safely and efficiently and helps us maintain a safe environment for all of our students.

Teachers Mean Business! 🐾😄

When teachers pick their parking spots… they mean business! 😂

You’ll notice Panthers paws marking designated faculty and staff parking spots around the school. 🐾

Please do not park in spaces marked with a Panther paw during school days. These spots are reserved so our faculty and staff can easily park and enter the building each day.

We appreciate everyone helping us keep parking organized and making arrival a little easier for our staff!

Meet Steve Picklesimer! After retiring from a commercial roofing company following 40 years in the industry, Steve has decided to join our middle school janitorial team.

He is married to Cynthia and has four children: Josh, Kent, Ian, and Jena, as well as three grandchildren: Kaci, Levi, and Ezra.

Steve is also a fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers!

We are pumped to have Steve on our Panther team!

CMS would like to officially welcome Mrs. Elena Estep! Elena has been working for Chesapeake schools for the last 5 years in various positions. Her husband Jeremy is a CHS graduate and currently serves on the Chesapeake School Board. They have four sons: Jake, a Chesapeake graduate; Jackson, a senior and Eli, a sophomore, both at CHS; and Silas who will be entering 5th grade at CMS. She is thrilled to continue working with the students of CMS and supporting their growth! 💜
