We are thrilled to feature the work of photographer Ernest J. Schweit, Photographer, here on the walls of Embellish Music Studios! Ernie’s eye for capturing beauty and layered emotion in everyday scenes adds a special dimension to the creative spirit we cultivate here at Embellish.

Even more special? Ernie is the father of Embellish’s founder, Sarah Emily Schweit. As a lifelong artist and storyteller, his work reminds us of the importance of supporting the arts across generations - and across mediums.

Very proud of the work my students put on at this year's spring recital! They graced the stage with solos, duets, and even trios. And, yes, even the 9 year olds are almost taller than me.

I am also very excited that ALL 5 of my graduating seniors are going into music in some capacity after high school - whether it's professionally, in pursuit of a degree, or joining their college choirs. KEEP SINGING!

A resounding congratulations to all students who participated in the annual VA NATS Student Auditions. Their hard work is paying off!

A special congratulations is in order for students who placed in their categories: Anaís Corporan (1st place, Honors, MT1), Kyrielle Bonner (3rd place, MT3A), Leann Purkey (Honors, MT3B), Tessa Hoppenfeld (2nd place, MT11), and Peter Scheible (1st place, MT12). Additionally, Peter, Anaís, and Leann will have the opportunity to move on to compete at the regional level.
