We are THRILLED to have Ms. Alex teaching GROUP music classes for ages 18 months to 6 years!

You can sign up on her website: https://musicwithmsalex.square.site/

Alex is a Hampton Roads native and graduate of Old Dominion University. She currently resides in Chesapeake with her husband and 3 young kids. With an educational background in music, theatre, and dance combined with a long career in early childhood education; bringing the musical arts to young learners is a dream come true! She is the owner of a brand new early childhood music program, "Music with Ms Alex."

Her music program uses listening, singing, instrument playing, and dancing to develop foundational music theory and appreciation. Her main instrument is her voice, but she is also skilled in piano and guitar, instruments your child will be able to put hands on in every class!

See you in class!

We are thrilled to feature the work of photographer Ernest J. Schweit, Photographer, here on the walls of Embellish Music Studios! Ernie’s eye for capturing beauty and layered emotion in everyday scenes adds a special dimension to the creative spirit we cultivate here at Embellish.

Even more special? Ernie is the father of Embellish’s founder, Sarah Emily Schweit. As a lifelong artist and storyteller, his work reminds us of the importance of supporting the arts across generations - and across mediums.

You’ll find four of his stunning prints displayed in our studio, available to view and purchase. Whether you're here for a lesson, a visit, or just a little inspiration - come take a look at some of Ernie's work! No time? Visit www.ejschweit.com and check out his work there.

We believe art in all forms helps build strong, connected communities. We're proud to uplift local and family artists alike, and we invite you to do the same. 🎶📷❤️

Very proud of the work my students put on at this year's spring recital! They graced the stage with solos, duets, and even trios. And, yes, even the 9 year olds are almost taller than me.

I am also very excited that ALL 5 of my graduating seniors are going into music in some capacity after high school - whether it's professionally, in pursuit of a degree, or joining their college choirs. KEEP SINGING!
