Our school building is closed for regular student activities, but our main office remains open to assist families. The 2026 summer schedule begins the week of Monday, June 15, 2026, and ends Thursday, August 27, 2026. During this time, we operate on a 4-day work week:

Monday – Thursday: 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Fridays: CLOSED

Our annual Field Day is Thursday, June 11th from 9:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. We are always excited to have families participate and enjoy this event with our Little Braves! What was previously called Passport to 4th Grade Night has been rebranded to RISE to 4th Grade. This change was made to match SRI's school wide PBIS for RISE (Responsibility, Integrity, Safety, and being Engaged). Just a reminder the event is taking place on April 28th. Doors will open at 5:00. Once families begin to arrive they will be led through the building by the Student Advisory Council Members accompanied by a Staff Member. The tour will include a glance at the building while they showcase academics and extracurriculars that they offer at SRI. Think college campus style tour.

Our Chesapeake Preschool Initiative (CPI) program is accepting applications for the 2026-2027 school year. 🚸 CPI is a free, full-day program that gives eligible children a head start on their education.
