Athens is experiencing a fire around the airport. Behind the sun it looked spooky but as we got closer it wasn’t so bad. Time to fly home and return to regular life and prepare for the 2024-2025 school year. I’m sad this year’s student travel season is over and nervous about being ready for this year’s students.

Today was our last full day of Touring the around Greece and Turkey discovering ancient history. We visited Ephesus the place where the bible comes alive along with the history of the different countries and religions that dominated the region. We are now sailing Back to Athens to fly back to the U.S. 12 days flies when you are learning and having fun!

Late last night we arrived in Mykonos, Greece for a quick tour about the history and a few myths. It was very lively since the party doesn’t actually begin there until midnight 1am students were back on the ship before the night life began. Today is our last full day for this adventure we’ve crossed continents (Europe to Asia) and are spending all day in Chios, Turkey.

Traveling with EF Tours is the best wat to take students to see the world. We visited Oia, Santorini and it is amazing as the pictures show. August is the best time of year to visit because most summer tours are finished and it’s not as crowded.
