WXCY's Teacher of the Month is sponsored each month by APGFCU, and we are excited to share our latest honoree - Mrs. Stephanie Zang, and 8th grade math teacher at Bohemia Manor Middle School! Her nomination reads:

"Mrs. Zang is an excellent teacher. She goes out of her way to ensure that every child understands the material and never leaves anyone behind. She takes the time to make each student feel seen and supported, and she genuinely expresses how proud she is of every student who accomplishes their goals. We all really appreciate her!"

Math can certainly be an intimidating subject for many people, and a smart, patient, kind and thorough math teacher is a key factor in really understanding the material. Mrs. Zang is all of that and more. Way to go, and thank you from us and all of your students!

Ever wondered what our Sports Boosters do??
By opening concessions at as many events that our volunteers can handle, we can show our Eagle Pride and hospitality.

More importantly, The proceeds help with things such as: yearly maintenance of the grass fields, equipment needs for teams, the TV and equipment In gym lobby that highlights our awesome athletes, donating towards our archery teams trips, and more. Funding In part for bigger Items listed below.
