I used to say this to myself.

Every missed deadline.
Every project I couldn't finish.
Every morning I started strong and faded by 11am.

'Stop making excuses. Other people figure it out.'

Here's what I know now that I didn't know then:

People with ADHD work harder than most
to produce the same output.

We're not doing less.
We're doing more — fighting an invisible load
that nobody can see,
including us.

❌ ADHD is not an excuse.
✅ ADHD is an explanation.

And explanations lead to solutions.
Excuses don't need them.

Real talk:

I have bought more planners than I care to admit.

Beautiful planners. Color-coded planners.
Planners with hourly breakdowns and habit trackers
and 'reflection prompts.'

You know how long I used each one?
About 11 days.

❌ MYTH: You just need to find the right planner.
✅ TRUTH: Planners are designed for brains that can
maintain consistent routines through sheer repetition.
ADHD brains aren't wired for that.

We need SYSTEMS, not tools.
Systems that account for time blindness.
Systems that lower the activation cost of starting.
Systems that work on Day 47, not just Day 3.

Tag a fellow entrepreneur who has a graveyard
of abandoned planners. 😂

5-system framework I actually use. 👇

Hey friends — I want to share something I've been building for a while now.

As a certified life and ADHD coach, I work with people who are smart, capable, and genuinely trying — but who keep getting derailed by the same thought patterns over and over.

"I'm not good enough."
"This always happens to me."
"I should have done better."

Sound familiar? These are called Automatic Negative Thoughts — ANTs. And the tricky thing is, they feel true. Completely, undeniably true. Even when they're not.

I built a free PDF assessment called the ANT Audit that helps you figure out WHICH patterns are most active in your own brain. There are 7 of them, and most people have 1 or 2 dominant ones.

Once you know which ANTs are running the show, you can start to interrupt them — and replace them with something that's actually true.

That's the FLIP Method. And the assessment is completely free — no email, no credit card, instant download.

I'd love to know which pattern shows up most for you — drop it in the comments if you're willing to share. 👇

And if you know someone who tends to be hard on themselves or gets stuck in negative thinking loops, feel free to pass this along. It might be exactly what they need.

If I had a dollar for every time someone told me
I just needed more discipline...

I've worked with ADHD business owners who wake up at 5am,
use 4 different planning apps,
and still end every day feeling like they failed.

❌ It's not a discipline problem.
✅ It's a systems problem.

Discipline is what you use when your system breaks down.
The goal is to build a system so solid
that you rarely need willpower at all.

The ADHD brain doesn't respond to importance.
It responds to interest, urgency, and reduced friction.

Once you start designing around THAT brain,
everything changes.

What's one thing in your business that always feels like a fight?

❌ MYTH: ADHD makes you bad at business.

✅ TRUTH: ADHD makes you bad at running a business
the way neurotypical people run businesses.

There's a massive difference.

ADHD entrepreneurs are often exceptional at:
• Seeing problems nobody else has noticed yet
• Hyperfocusing on things that genuinely interest them
• Making fast decisions under pressure
• Connecting ideas across completely different fields

What trips us up is the stuff nobody warned us about:
admin, systems, consistency, and the boring-but-necessary.

The fix isn't trying harder.
It's building systems that work WITH your brain
instead of against it.

Drop a 🙋 in the comments if you've ever been told
you're 'too scattered' to run a business.

You're not. You just need a different blueprint.

TITLE: Hot take: the 'ADHD is a superpower' framing is making
it harder for us to build real systems

I know this is controversial but hear me out.

After coaching adults with ADHD for years and spending 20+ years
in federal leadership with an undiagnosed ADHD brain — I've noticed
something.

When we spend all our time reframing ADHD as a gift, we skip the
part where we build actual systems to function better.

Your brain IS different. That's real. But different doesn't mean
the regular rules don't apply. It means you need DIFFERENT systems.

Not motivational content. Not validation. Systems.

What's been the most useful 'system' you've built for your ADHD brain?
Genuinely curious — dropping mine in the comments.

If you've been running your business on willpower,
I want to save you the next 5 years.

Because that's how long I white-knuckled my way through
federal leadership before I figured out what actually works
for an ADHD brain.

Not more hustle.
Not better time management apps.
Not forcing myself to operate like everyone else.

Systems. Five of them.
Built specifically for how our brains actually work.

I put all five into a free guide.

• The Priority Stack — one clear target per day
• Time Anchoring — 3 check-ins that kill time blindness
• Friction Reduction — remove every wall between you and starting
• The Done List — retrain your brain to register progress
• The Weekly Reset — 20 minutes Sunday saves 10 hours Monday

Free. No opt-in maze. Just the system.
