These pictures were taken on December 23rd. Monk Channarong messaged me on Facebook last year about studying and teaching English in Lamphun. About a month later, I went to his temple, Wat Chedi Kao, to meet him and his students.

This is Wat Chiang Yuen (Chiang Yuen Temple) in Chiang Mai City.

The monks here are amazing- they learn fast, make jokes, and always have great energy. I didn't know about the monk lifestyle before I met these guys.

I'll tell you how I met them later.

What makes you feel alive? What are some things that excite you?

For me, it's music. Music is something that makes me feel alive. I usually listen to music when I'm riding my motorcycle, going for a walk, and practicing writing. Nothing else really excites me and, sometimes, I think that's a bad thing 😅

The 'th-' sound comes from your TEETH and TONGUE. There are 2 ways to say 'th-': [1] our tongue hits our top teeth or [2] our tongue goes between our top and bottom teeth.
It's not an AGGRESSIVE sound. The 'th-' sound can be very soft and delicate.

Some vocabulary:
'This', 'that', 'bath', with', 'leather'

Practice, practice, practice.

So, I went to Chiang Rai, Thailand recently. I went there to get my visa for my passport, but it ended up being a really nice trip. There was an art festival happening when I arrived, so I watched the whole thing while enjoying some coffee and walking around. I didn't expect to have such a great time.
