Zion Lutheran Church & School Located in Chesaning, Michigan since 1873 we still strive to benefit the community by preaching and teaching the truths of the Bible.

Striving to bring the good news of Christ's salvation to those in the Chesaning area has been the church's goal since the 19th century, but in 1983 the congregation showed that educating the youth was a priority as they built a school a few blocks from the church. The school today capitalizes on its small class size to instruct students in not only their academics, but also the struggles that a yo

Join us this week for Worship. This will be our last of the Summer Schedule. Starting on Sunday, September 13,2026 we will go back to our Fall Worship Schedule with Services being on Sunday Mornings at 8:00 & 10:30 am with Bible Class and Sunday School starting at 9:15 am each Sunday.

This week we Celebrate the Fifteenth Sunday after Pentecost.
Pastor Paul Tessmer will be speaking on Matthew 18:15-20 with the Sermon Theme: The Lord Entrusts His Keys to His Church.
