For those who have been asking here is the information for our back to school giveaway your child must go to school in one of our service areas: Chisholm, hibbing, Cherry, and floodwood. If you are outside these service areas please call us and we will direct you to the Salvation Army that services that area.

NEW FOR THE 2026-2027 SCHOOL YEAR: Cell Phone Policy

We are committed to creating a focused, healthy, and engaging learning environment for every student. Starting this school year, we will be enforcing a "Bell-to-Bell" personal electronic device policy across all grades (PreK-12).

Here's what you need to know:
First Bell to Last Bell
All cell phones, smartwatches, wireless earbuds, and other personal electronic devices must be turned off (or set to airplane mode) and stored securely in backpacks or assigned lockers throughout the entire instructional day, including passing time, lunch periods, and recess.

Why the Change?
Eliminate Distractions: Keeping eyes on learning and minds on the lesson.

Support Mental Health: Providing a healthy break from social media pressures during the day.

Foster Connection: Encouraging face-to-face conversations, teamwork, and real-world social interaction.
