CCHS has reached a total of 71 total units of blood donated to Lifeblood. We are lacking four units in order to receive a $500 scholarship for the school to give out to students. Our Lifeblood rep said that if anyone was willing to go to one of the fixed locations and donate that she would let it count toward our goal. The closest fixed location is in Memphis. We would hate to miss our goal by four and miss out on that scholarship! If you are in or travelling to the Memphis area, please contact the school and we can get you more information.

The CCHS Writing Center class was tasked with better understanding the art of story telling. What better way to explore this topic than with a case study of Pixar.

The students researched how to generate great story ideas, how to construct engaging characters, how to effectively foster drama and conflict, and how to structure a story so that it all works.

In the end, they wrote, drew, produced, and directed a film called Folderless. This is a storyboard film with narration. We hope you enjoy!
