Good morning! We had a wonderful meeting last Wednesday, 8/12.
We had two guests, Regan and Joey, who jumped right in to participate in Table Topics! We loved your confidence and participation, and we look forward to having you back for future meetings!
Our theme for last week’s meeting was vulnerability. Catherine (not pictured) gave a moving speech about navigating hardships and the importance of sharing your life and having community with others. We chose to use vulnerability as our Word of the Day for Table Topics, where we continued to explore themes of building trust with others in professional settings and in leadership.
Our Winners were Catherine for Best Speaker, Regan for Best Table Topics, and Holly for Best Evaluator!
Cherry Point Toastmasters meets every 2nd and 4th Wednesday of the month at Public House from 11:40AM-12:40PM.
