Cherokee Boys Club

Cherokee Boys Club The Cherokee Boys Farm Club was established at the Cherokee Boarding School in 1932. Two years later the Cherokee Motor Club was founded.

When the Boarding School closed in 1954, the two Clubs were continued by the Cherokee Day School. The Clubs were combined in 1958 and continued to grow. On May 4, 1964, the Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians incorporated the Cherokee Boys Club as a non-profit self-supporting, Tribal Enterprise.

The Cherokee Boys Club would like to thank everyone who took time out of their busy day to come out and vote for our Board of Directors members yesterday. After final count, the newly elected Board Members are as follows:

1. D**e Sneed - 55 votes
2. Chris McMillan - 49 votes
3. Shalana Yates - 48 votes
4. Cody Gloyne - 48 votes
5. Brittany Saunooke - 46 votes

Congratulations! The current Board members will continue to serve until 9/30/26 and the newly elected Board members will be sworn in on 10/1/26.

A special thank you goes to Lloyd Arneach, Stephanie French, Perry Shell, and Dallas Bennett for volunteering to be on our election committee to assist with the votes and counting.
