Approximately 80 (mix of Hispanic, African-American, Asian, White)

AVERAGE CLASS SIZE:

11 students

CLASS STRUCTURE:

Traditional class schedule 7 hour days. High school uses block scheduling. GRADING SCALE:

(1st – 8th) A = 100 -95, B = 94 – 88, C = 87 – 78, D = 77 – 70, F = 69 – below

(9th – 12th) A = 100 – 93, B = 92 – 85, C = 8

4 – 77, D = 76 – 70, F = 69 – below

GRADE POINT AVERAGE:

JILCS uses the South Carolina Uniform Grading Policy (UGP) 2007

JILCS GRADUATION REQUIREMENTS:

English 4 units

Math 4 units

Bible 4 units

Science 3 units

Social Studies 3 units

Spanish 1 unit

PE 1 unit

Computer Science 1 unit

Electives 7 units

24 units minimum to graduate

BACK-TO-SCHOOL BREAKFAST

Just a reminder that we will be serving a back-to-school breakfast for the students tomorrow morning, Friday, August 7. This will be a great time for the students to get to talk and get to know one another better as they enjoy breakfast together. Please try to drop your child off between 7:45 and 8:00 so he/she can enjoy breakfast with their friends!
