Northeastern Technical College recognized three outstanding employees for their service and dedication to the college by naming its Summer 2026 Employees of the Semester at the college's Fall inservice.

April Moore, Business Office Payment Coordinator, was named Staff of the Semester; Seth Johnson, Machine Tool Instructor, was selected as Faculty of the Semester; and Jesse Chapman, Business Office Procurement Manager, was recognized as Administrator of the Semester.

The Employee of the Semester awards recognize NETC employees who go above and beyond the expectations of their positions and demonstrate an exceptional commitment to the college, their coworkers, and the students and communities NETC serves.

Recipients are selected from employee nominations highlighting extraordinary contributions beyond an individual’s normal job responsibilities. Nominees are considered based on qualities including work commitment, dependability, a positive attitude, reliability, professionalism, and commitment to the mission of Northeastern Technical College.

Moore, Johnson, and Chapman were recognized for exemplifying these qualities and for the positive impact they make through their work at NETC.

All employees selected as the Employee of the Semester throughout the year will also be considered for NETC’s Employee of the Year honors. The college’s annual Employee of the Year recipients are recognized at the South Carolina Technical College Association Annual Conference, held each February in Myrtle Beach.

Congratulations to our Spring 2026 Employees of the Semester and to all of the employees nominated for their outstanding contributions to NETC!
