We are to let our light shine, the light that God has placed within us, so that the world can see clearly the need for Jesus. Illuminate the pathway to Jesus for someone today ! Mt.5:14-16.

Have you ever been happy when something bad happened to a person that you didn't like? "They got what they deserved. " This is not love. This is EVIL. Love always wins, but on a personal level, we must let it. Strive to constantly remind yourself to love others ALL the time. Is this a nearly impossible task? Or is it sad that it isn't easier? Be conscious of it and it will get easier with time.

Our God goes by many names that describe his nature like Yahweh the great I Am, Jehovah-Jireh, he always provides, Jehovah-rapha the one who heals and Jehovah-Nissi the Lord is my banner. But the greatest name of all that I love to call God is Father! He is Father to all that he has given new birth to! John 1:12, 13.

All thine heart. . . soul. . . might. Have you given ALL of your heart, soul, and might to something before? What about just one of those 3 things? Imagine how powerful and good your effort and achievement would be with just one of those things. Combine the efforts of all 3 and it is a recipe for everlasting life.

Fellowship is essential for personal growth, Pr.27:17. The fellowship that all believers need is with our Heavenly Father and with his holy church, Acts 2:42. This world offers a fellowship, but in reality, it is only a counterfeit to what you really need. Make sure that you choose wisely who you spend your time with.

Life may drag one down more times than one cares to remember, and so often we may stumble through our days tired, worn, and heavy. Even though a holiday may help, what's meant in this passage here in Matthew is much more profound in suggesting that unlike holidays, the Lord, His word, His truth and His arms, are always open to receive us. Furthermore, His house is also always open. For it is important to make time for the Church, wherever possible. For the more time one may spend there, the more one may feel one's spirit rested, and the stronger one may become in facing the world again.

Joseph offers also an exemplary case of faith within the Lord. Visited by an angel, instructed of Mary's miraculous conception, these things may have been nearly impossible to accept for all or any without faith or awareness in God and His awesome power. Indeed, one may recall that Joseph was initially skeptical, which as a man devoted to his wife he may be perfectly entitled to. But through the Lord's miracles, the clouds of suspicion cleared. Through our Heavenly Father's works, coupled with a willingness to reject our own arrogant nature, our initial doubts may find the light of grace, just as Joseph did.

We live in a world where people operate in uncertainties and are driven by their emotions. This is a sure way that leads to anxiety and anarchy. It’s easy for Christians to fall for their lies if we lack the trust and knowledge of God’s word. For the God of Glory, the Saviour of our soul, operates within absolute truth, Ps.12:6.
