USD 268 Parents and Community Members- We have just one week left for the Facilities Survey. Your feedback is important to us and we want to encourage everyone who hasn't completed a survey yet, to do so before August 28th. We are hoping to receive at least 500 surveys returned by the 28th. Way to go kids and Samantha Dungan!

The National Chapter Award Program is designed to recognize FFA chapters that actively implement the mission and strategies of the organization. These chapters improve chapter operations using the National Quality Chapter Standards (NQCS) and a Program of Activities (POA) that emphasize growing leaders, building communities and strengthening agriculture.

Cheney FFA has been awarded 3 stars which is the highest rating awarded!!

The chapter will be recognized on stage this fall at the 99th National FFA Convention, in Indianapolis.

Congrats Autry! What an accomplishment!!

Cheney’s Autry Young continues to build one of the top résumés in Kansas.

Young captured the AAU Junior Olympic National Championship in the girls 15-16 shot put with a new personal-best throw of 42-3.5 (12.89m).

The incoming sophomore was already one of Kansas’ top throwers after finishing state runner-up in Class 3A as a freshman. Her 42-3.5 would have ranked No. 3 among all Kansas high school girls this past spring.

Young also earned AAU Multi-Events All-American honors during this year’s Junior Olympic Games, adding another national accomplishment to an already impressive résumé.

At just 15 years old, Young is quickly establishing herself as one of the premier young track & field event athletes in Kansas and continues to raise the bar on the national stage.
