2026 Summer Arts for Teens!
CHELTENHAM CENTER FOR THE ARTS SUMMER ARTS FOR TEENS are specially designed for teens ages 13-17, who enjoy activities in the visual arts. Our programs give teens the chance to develop creative skills for self-expression by focusing on a single subject at a time. We encourage teens to explore the many ways to solve problems and think outside the box. A carefully planned program provides teens with a varied schedule that maintains a high level of interest and fun.

Souls Shot Portrait Project - Portraits of Victims of Gun Violence

This traveling exhibit links fine artists with families or friends of victims of gun violence. The artists meet with the victims' loved ones to learn about the lives they lived. Our goal is to present diverse works that in some way relay graphically, or through narrative, the essence of the person being portrayed.
Their mission is to bring attention to and memorialize the lives lost and tragically altered due to gun violence. Portraits have the unique ability to call out the souls and profoundly affect those who see them.

Exhibit runs May 14th - June 9th.
Gallery hours:
M-F, 10am-5pm.

We wish you a safe and fun-filled Memorial Day celebration! The Center will reopen on Tuesday, May 26th with normal business hours from 10am - 5pm.

The Artists in Residence Exhibition is now on view through Tuesday, June 9th!
Stop by the Center to experience the work of resident artists Jess Barnett and Alessandra Mitchell as they celebrate the completion of their residencies.
