Congratulations to Ray Houle on this truly deserved recognition! Ray is a senior CHS Choir member and very talented on the stage!

Chelsea High School Theatre Guild member, Ray Houle, has been selected as one of 42 students from hundreds of auditions across Michigan to perform at the Wharton Center with Broadway legend, Sutton Foster!

Sutton Foster is a Tony Award winning actress, singer, and dancer whose Broadway credits include Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street, The Music Man, Thoroughly Modern Millie, Anything Goes, and Shrek, among many other theatrical roles. On television, Sutton Foster appeared in roles on Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life, The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, and much more.

Ray Houle was nominated to compete in The Sutton Foster Awards, the Michigan branch of the national Jimmy Awards, last May for their portrayal of Betty Haynes in The Guild's production of White Christmas. Ray's hard work, artistry, and passion has resulted in this outstanding accomplishment, and we are excited to share her success with our community!
