Continuing education doesn’t stop with our apprentices — it applies to our staff and instructors, too.

Today, our instructional team is participating in a customized Microsoft training course focused on tools like OneDrive, Word, Excel, and other programs that support both classroom instruction and day-to-day operations.

The goal isn’t simply to learn software features; it’s to identify practical, real-world tips and tricks that can be incorporated into classroom lessons, curriculum development, recordkeeping, and collaboration as our program continues to grow.

A special thank you to Jackson College for creating a course specifically tailored to the needs of our instructors and staff. Their willingness to customize the training to support our growing team and evolving educational needs is greatly appreciated.

Investing in our instructors means investing in our apprentices and the future of the electrical industry.

⚡ A new articulation agreement with Washtenaw Community College, creating additional pathways for apprentices to earn a college degree

⚡ The addition of two new full-time instructors as we continue expanding to meet the needs of our growing apprenticeship program

⚡ Updates on the National Training Institute (NTI) Conference and opportunities for apprentices to get involved

⚡ Progress on our classroom expansion project

⚡ New wage scale updates and important program announcements

⚡ Union 4 Life's recent $20,000 donation to the University of Michigan Rogel Cancer Center, bringing total donations since 2013 to an incredible $161,000
